Abstract

The study included four chapters, the first chapter included (the methodological framework) the research problem and the need for it, which was summarized in the following question: (What is spontaneity, and what are its functions in the performance of the Iraqi theater actor?), and the importance of the research is reflected in the benefit of those engaged in theatrical field from students of art colleges and institutes Al-Jamila, the aim of the research was manifested in: (Identifying spontaneity and its functions in the performance of the Iraqi theater actor).

As for the second chapter: it included two sections, the first: (historical journeys of spontaneity), the second: (spontaneity in the performance of theatrical actor).

As for the third chapter, it included (research procedures), and (the fourth chapter) included the research results and their discussion. The researcher reached:

1- Forming the aesthetic act of the spontaneous performance of the actors through expression (physical/voice)

2- The environment and knowledge with the internal techniques of the actor

played an important role in the spontaneous performance.
