Abstract

Personality is the relatively organised pattern of behavioural patterns, attitudes, beliefs and typical values of a particular individual, which are recognised by both the individual themselves and others. It is the result of a person’s inner forces interacting with the environment in which they live, and all the external factors surrounding them that influence them in one way or another. Human personality is the common factor linking a person’s internal psychological processes to their external behaviour as observed by others; it is the manifestation of the inner qualities and radiance harboured by the soul, combined with the actions and movements that behaviour adds, and it is through this combination that the individual is recognised by this personality. The truth is that the mind has a significant and direct influence on the formation of personality; it is the common factor between the inner promptings of the soul and one’s outward behaviour, as each responds to the mind’s perceptions and signals. Consequently, balance in personality means regulating the degree of rationality and behaviour, and it is on the basis of this regulation that the key to every person’s personality is determined..
