The semantic dimension and its phenomena in the Qur’anic studies of Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Saghir

Abstract

The study of Dr. Muhammad Hussein al-Saghir’s methodology in Quranic studies realizes with a decisive tooth that there is no Qur’anic word that was mentioned in the Qur’anic texts that does not have meaning, intent and connotation, especially the words with synonymous and common meanings, as they carry stronger connotations and a meaning within the meaning mentioned by Dr. Muhammad Hussain Al-Saghbar (may God have mercy on him) in his books (The Development of Semantic Research, An Applied Study in the Holy Qur’an), and (The Significance of Words in the Great Qur’an between Modernity and Heritage
